Cookie & Tracking Notice

PocketPart (operated by 76 Analytics, Inc.) uses a small, deliberately minimal set of cookies and local storage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share data for behavioral advertising.

1. What we use

  • Authentication / session cookies (strictly necessary). When you sign in to the dashboard, our authentication provider (Supabase) sets cookies that keep you signed in and refresh your session securely. Without these, the dashboard cannot function. They are not used for tracking.
  • Theme preference (pp-theme). A small cookie that remembers your light/dark choice so the correct theme renders on the server on your next visit. It stores only your theme choice — no personal data and no tracking.
  • Analytics & performance (privacy-protective). We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic and performance. Vercel Analytics is designed to be cookieless — it does not use cookies to identify or track you across sites and does not build advertising profiles.
  • Error monitoring. Sentry captures diagnostic information when something goes wrong so we can fix it. This is operational, not advertising-related.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or cross-context behavioral tracking.

2. How to control cookies

  • Strictly necessary auth cookies can’t be disabled while you’re signed in — they’re required for the dashboard to work. Signing out and clearing your browser cookies removes them.
  • The pp-theme cookie can be cleared at any time via your browser; the interface falls back to your system preference.
  • You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in.
  • Analytics here is cookieless and aggregate, so there is no advertising profile to opt out of.

3. GDPR / CCPA note

Under the GDPR/UK GDPR, strictly necessary cookies (authentication and your theme preference) do not require consent; we rely on legitimate interests for our privacy-protective, cookieless analytics and error monitoring. Where consent is required in your region, we will obtain it before setting any non-essential cookie. Under the CCPA/CPRA, we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no “Do Not Sell or Share” action to take here. You can still exercise your privacy rights as described in our Privacy Policy.
