Getting Started
PocketPart documentation
PocketPart is a hosted Model Context Protocol server. It exposes a catalog of legal-research tools — case law and dockets, USPTO and EPO patent data, the MPEP, the U.S. Code, and the federal rules — to Claude and any other MCP-aware host. Connect it once and your assistant can search, retrieve, and cite primary sources with identifiers it can’t fabricate.
New here? The fastest path is to add PocketPart as a connector in Claude and sign in. Everything else — keys, plans, packs, teams — is optional configuration you can return to later.

How it fits together
- Connect. Add PocketPart to Claude as a custom connector and sign in. See Connect to Claude.
- Plans & packs. Which tools appear depends on your plan and the packs enabled for your membership.
- Bring your own credentials. Paid upstreams like PACER use your own login, billed to you by the source.
- Teams. Invite colleagues and manage roles — see Teams & roles.
