Teams & roles

Firm organizations have members with roles. Roles decide who can change billing, manage people, and configure credentials.

Roles

Owner
  • Billing (plans, seats, payment, invoices)
  • Manage members and roles
  • Set org PACER / BYO credentials
Admin
  • Manage members and roles
  • Cannot touch billing
Member
  • Create and manage their own API keys
  • Use the tools their packs allow

Invites

  • Owners and admins invite by email.
  • The invitee gets a Join / Decline consent screen — joining is never automatic, and they keep their own personal organization regardless.
  • Invites are scoped: accepting one joins only the inviting org.

Leaving & switching

  • A member can leave an org at any time. A sole owner must first transfer ownership or delete the org — you can’t orphan an org by leaving it.
  • Users who belong to more than one org get an org switcher to choose their active org. The active org determines which plan, packs, and limits apply.
